Ok, so in about *looks at watch* 5 minutes I'm leaving to go all the way to vermont to go to Carneage. That's a gaming convention, and while I love this convention (anime booth? Beautiful vermont scenery? Hitting people with foam weapons? Score!)...

1) It's the first time with my dad. ONLY my dad. no mom. He could inflict whatever punishment he feels while there, and mom wont save me.
2) 3 hour car trip. with my sister and dad. in which my sister is in a bad mood, and will probably piss dad off.
3) Dad doesnt like me bugging people with "what's that? whats this? how are you this year?"... and the worst parts...
5) He certainly wont let me hang out with maddy the whole time, since I'm not running games. he insists that at a gaming convention I play games, so then I go and try to play games with Ian and his friends, which leads me to the last bullet:
4) (yes, I know I mixed 4 and 5) I cant go into the guy's room. There's a girl room and a guy room when we go, and the guy room has all the snacks and the laughter and such. Granted I'd enjoy hanging with maddy a bit more than them, just because she's my super friend and all (best makes it sound all akward and makes me feel like she'd smack me for it xDDD) but I like them too, and my dad's all "you're gonna have sex with them".... yeah... oh well...

this year may suprise me, though! Maybe it will be the best year yet!

I have realized that I have much too many exeperiments to do for art styles at the moment. I'll never get around to doing them all in my lifetime... gah... I mean, so far I have these:

Horray, I am now playing the legend of dragoon again. For those who dont know, it's a super kick ass game for the PS1. It's the very first RPG I have ever played, and it holds a place in my heart.

What mainly scares me is the fact that after so many years I havent played it, I can still do the additions as if it was nothing...

And lets all not forget the steriotypes this game has taught us.

Main character is almost always the sword warrior/fire type (first time saw this countered:Avatar: The last airbender, actually. And Xiolin Showdown...)
Earth types are the idiots.
Light types are the ditsy girls who barely do anything (first time seen countered: Lady Yuna, FFx. Not much of an improvement, but an improvement all teh same)
Air types are the best friend kind of person, and/or the smart one (once again, avater, since aang is the main character.)
Darkness types are the cool, mysterious people: I havent seen that countered yet! Yay, coolness!
Thunder: Doesnt really appear in that many anime/games. Maybe .hack, but other than that and FF... but they arent really the same thing here... thunder, but in a different sence...
Water: The happy bubbly likeable type(sometimes annoying too) (time seen countered: Possibly Xiolin showdown? Havent watched enough episodes to know...)

And as an update, so far only Me, Maddy, and My friend Kyla find David tennant sexy. So we're officially the david tennant sexy fan club!

Ok, I was watching doctor who with my dad (I happen to be a doctor who fanatic. I used to watch the tom baker episodes with dad when I was little and I still watch it with him now, except now maddy joins in on the fandom here. What can we say? David Tennant is sexy as hell! despite what my mommy says...) and I came to two realizations after reading youtube, and watching some episodes, and After deep thought.

1) Other than rose's boyfriend, mickey, Martha is the first black companion. O_O; I mean, I didnt even realize it. Kudos to her! >_> She's actually a pretty cool companion. Not that I didnt like Rose, it just seems to me that Martha was quite useful... even though rose was two.

Second, I didnt notice this untuil wikipedia, and careful concideration over past episodes.

HOW did it take me this long to realize this? -___-; Here I am, blinking freaking yaoi fangirl, with a pretty ok Gaydar, and I never realized that Captain Jack was bi. And he's kissed guys on the show too! I mean, DAMN! It's like when I walk around acting normal, and I dont realize that my glasses are filthy. I'm such an idiot, seriously.
